Jasmine Abbey is an artist from southern Alberta. She has a studio on a bison ranch just south of Arrowwood, Alberta. Jasmine works in a variety of mediums including: acrylic, oil, ink, graphite, and chalk. Her acrylic paintings are brightly coloured with neon under-paintings and she loves to use shades of blue. When she paints with oil, it tends to be more realistic yet you can still see the brushwork. You’ll see subjects ranging from wildlife, floral, landscape, portrait, and lettering. In 2012, she received a BA in History of Art, Design and Visual Culture from the University of Alberta.
